Springhill Farm Christmas Rocky Road

I spoke recently about the new Springhill Farm range which included three gluten free slices. Now just for Christmas, they have released two options. Introducing Jingle Bell, Rose Petal & Macadamia Christmas Rocky Road, as well as the I’m Dreaming of a White Chocolate & Coconut Christmas. Each bar will set you back $12.95, over on their website. Additionally, you can pick up a $30 Christmas hamper. These are made in Australia, so great for supporting local business. Of course, get them while they are here because these will disappear at the end of the holiday season.

Let’s start with the Jingle Bell. For major allergens these contain milk, soy, tree nuts (macadmias), and bee pollen. They additonally, may contain peanuts, other tree nuts, and egg. Other ingredients include sustainable palm, cocoa derivatives, invert syrup, gelatine, corn starch, coconut, cranberries, and sultanas. The milk chocolate is nice and creamy there are a lot of additions which gives a range of textures. With marshmallows, rose petals, coconut, and macadamias. It’s like a mix between rocky road and turkish delight. Personally, I love it. However, Brody isn’t a fan of the floral notes from the rose petals. It is a very dominant flavour. The coconut does get stuck in my teeth but it’s not overpowering. This is a definite must for me.

Now onto the I’m Dreaming of a White Chocolate. This contains milk, soy, and sulphites. Additionally, it may contain tree nuts, peanuts, and egg. Other ingredients include cranberries, raisins, and rice flour derivatives. This is packed full of nuts, fruit and coconut. It’s definitely festive looking with the white chocolate, bright cranberries, pepitas and apricots. You get a lot of texture in each bite, with the chewy fruits and crunchy nuts. It’s a little bit sweeter with the inclusion of the white chocolate. Not my favourite but I can still eat a massive portion. You will definitely get coconut stuck in your teeth as the name suggests.

White Christmas Springhill Farm Rocky Road

I will grab more of the Jingle Bells rocky road for sure. I think that if you love turkish delight and rocky road then that is your clear choice. The white chtistmas is for those who prefer fruity options. However, both will be beautiful on a Christmas Platter. That’s it for this years seasonal range from Springhill Farm. Furthermore, you can read about the rest of the Springhill Farm range check that out. Alternatively, you can read about more Christmas treats here.
